With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Athelene Addair (Iaeger, West Virginia), who passed away on July 25, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everette Vanover (Ebb) and Cassie Steele Vanover; her husband Foster Addair; her son Thomas Addair; her granddaughter Cassie L. Matney; her son-in-law Donald Matney; and her siblings, James, Estel, Glen Vanover, Betty Rose, Patsy and Inez Vanover.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Addair of Royal Retreat, James Addair (Iaeger) of Long Bottom and Cheril Hurley (Chuck); her grandchildren, Evelyn Blankenship, Vickie Webb, Clayton Webb, Jeremy Matney (Melissa), Jason Matney (Katrina), Dusty Cline (Daniel), Stacie Kennedy (Jon), Sarah Maynard (Bernie), Alex Addair of Royal Retreat, Isaiah Addair (Emily) and Hannah Addair of Royal Retreat; her great grandchildren, Kayleigh Kennedy, Cassie Matney, Marcus Matney, Luke Mullins, Paisley, Grayson Maynard, Colton, Katelyn and Kylie Cline; her brother Harold Vanover (Patty) of Princeton; and her sisters-in-law, Doris Vanover of Pipe Stem and Janet Vanover of Marlton, WV. She is also survived by step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
