He was predeceased by: his parents, Oral Haney Sr. and Lula Fincham Haney; his siblings, Harold Haney, Carl Haney, Oral Haney Jr., Jerry Haney, Richard Haney, Thurman Haney, Mary Runner, Gatha Pierce, Barbara Conrad, Maxine Haney and Geraldine Haney; his son Billy Lane Haney; and his grandson Jeffrey Haney.

He is survived by: his wife Deloris Jean Lambert; his children, Tommy Haney of Mill Creek, Jeffrey Allen Haney of Elkins, Kimberly Cheek of North Carolina and Donna Sue Lemasters (Thomas) of Elkins; and his grandchildren, Shantel Lemasters, Joshua Lemasters, Zackery Lemasters, Victoria Lemasters, Justin Lemasters and Ashley McCune.
