She was predeceased by: her parents, Carson Cottrell and Ivel Cottrell; her sister Joann Cottrell Wackenheim; and her son John Andrew Basham. She is survived by: her husband Harold Ray "Hoot" Basham; her grandsons, Ryan and Ben; and her nieces, Marybeth Proctor, Sheri Germane and Susan Hinshaw. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
