He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Eugene McClaugherty and Edna Hodge McClaugherty James of Virginia; his grandparents, Obie, Notie McClaugherty, Thomas J. and Edna Hodge; and his brother Johnnie Dale McClaugherty.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Steven McClaugherty (Carla) of Knoxville, TN and April Tanner (Larry) of South Charleston; his grandchildren, Jacob, Rylie McClaugherty, Emma and Luke Tanner; and his sister Sharon Larue of Peterstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be observed during all services.
