She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Akers and Jewell Akers of Mt. Carbon; and her brothers, Alonzo, Johnny, Donald and Tom Akers.
She is survived by: her sisters, Karen Hunt, Charlene Bird and Susie Kelly; her niece Paula Akers; her close friend Jerry Snyder of Smithers; her daughter Chastity Cavender (AJ Brown) of Hurricane; her husband Justin; her children, Trenton of Hurricane, Cadian of Hurricane, Donovan of Hurricane, Jace of Hurricane, Elliana Julene Shull of Hurricane and Billy James Akers (Susan); her grandchildren, Brianna, Brittany, Dekodah and Conor Akers of Hurricane; and her siblings, Tony Akers (Debbie) of Kimberly and Gail Spears of Lorain. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
