It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul O Oxley of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oral Oxley and Virgie Oxley; his former wife Ada Phelps Oxley; his son Gregory Charles Oxley; his sisters, Aredith Oxley and Elwanda Brown; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Sayre and Herald Whittington.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Surface Ross Oxley; his son Keith (Martha); his stepchildren, Jerry Ross and Kim Ross; his daughter-in-law Bobbi Oxley; his sisters, Diane Serjern, Jeanette Withrow (Jerry) and Janice Sayre; his grandchildren, Gregory, Philip, Allison, Brandi, Jason, Stacy, Holly and Hope; and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Kelsey, Jacob, Karsen, Lilly, Tritan, Zoe, Roman, Conner, Jase, Brinley, Easton, Xander and Lillian. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (2837 Main St, Hurricane, WV 25526). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
