Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Martin Payne of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 38, on July 12, 2021. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ruth, Harold Vessey, Catherine and Raymond Payne; his aunt Joyce Vessey Swanson; and his uncles, Terrance Lively, Sr. and Charles Harrison.

He is survived by: his parents, Phyllis and Harold; his sister Grace Dixon (Justin); his nieces and nephews, Mary Payne, Blythe and Hayden; his aunts, Adele Vessey (Charles Jaeger III), Nancy Lively and Cathy Fox (Stephen); his uncle Calvin Swanson; and his cousins, Pedro Dejneka (Stacie), Brandon Vessey (Alicia), Terrance Lively, Jr., Charlotte Renner (Chris), Julie Hiatt (Jonathan) and Stephanie Page (Michael).

In lieu of flowers, our family requests that donations be sent to Tri-County YMCA in Scott Depot, or the First Tee of West Virginia/West Virginia Golf Association.
