He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rev Robert James and Ola Edgell Chenoweth; his brothers, Rev Robert James Jr and Asbury Webb; his wife Hazel Gertrude Miller Field; his daughter Lynda Darlene King (Benjamin King); his grandson Joseph Samuel Warren Gross (Nathaniel Trott); and his brother David Eugene Chenoweth. He was also cherished by two great granddaughters and a great grandson.
