He was predeceased by: his mother Audrey Elswick; and his sister Kathleen Wood. He is survived by: his wife Diana "Sis" Lynn Howard; his daughters, Amy Hunt (Brian) of Oak Park, IL, Terri Howard (Brent Doughty) of Hurricane, WV and Jenifer Howard of Hurricane, WV; his grandchildren, Christian Hatfield (Angel), Lexie Hatfield, Sophia Hunt and Isabel Hunt; and his brother Virgil Wood (Sandy) of California.
