Jimmie Garrett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmie Garrett of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away on December 7, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Garrett and Eva Mae Abbott Garrett of Lincoln County; his daughter Sharon Smith; and his siblings, Charles Garrett, Ferd Porter, Frances Sergent, Garnett Hess and Reba Chambers.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Garrett; his son-in-law Jeff Smith of Hurricane; his grandchildren, Kristi Meek (Ben), Josh Smith (Tara), Kelly Sadler (CJ), Andrea Smith, David Davis, Sarah Price (Caleb) and Kyle Smith; his great grandchildren, Delanee, Wyatt Smith, Alivia Sadler and Liam Price; and his sister-in-law Jackie Garrett. He is also survived by loving daughters and their spouses.
Due to COVID and safety for family and friends, a private graveside service will be held at Valley View in Hurricane.
