It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet L Rowsey of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Donald Rowsey; and her grandparents, Virgil Rowsey, Hattie Rowsey, Howard Sovine and Thelma Sovine.
She is survived by: her caregiver Carol; her siblings, LaDonna Rowsey of Hurricane and Howard Rowsey (Sharon) of Parkersburg, WV.; her niece Courtney Dyer; her great-nephews, Greyson, Guy, Knox and Wesley; and her friends, Tish, Rick Wallace, Kylene Dunlap Brown, Alan Bays and Marty Wingate.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Forrest Burdette United Methodist Church (2848 Putnam Ave, Hurricane, WV 25526). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
