It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer O Meadows of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Homer O Meadows to pay them a last tribute.
As Homer departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Homer. Though Homer may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard B. Meadows and Dessie Meadows (Walker). He is survived by: his wife Martha E. Meadows (Snodgrass); and his children, Andria Phillips, Marsha Billet (John), Thomas Meadows and Julie Miller. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, but also to nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (2837 Main St, Hurricane, WV 25526). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hurricane Church of the Nazarene (2325 US-60, Culloden, WV 25526).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to the Hurricane First Church of the Nazarene – Building Fund.
