It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gregory Clay Thornton of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Thornton and Rosetta Thornton; his wife Regina Thornton; and his father-in-law Douglas Ramey. He is survived by: his son Matthew Thornton; his daughter-in-law Violet Cohenour-Thornton; his granddaughters, Lilly and Lila Cohenour; his sisters, Janet Chapman, Irene Goff, Betty Lipscomb and Brenda White (Richard); his mother-in-law Avis Ramey; and his brother-in-law Randall Ramey (Diane). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, wonderful neighbors and friends.
