He was predeceased by: his parents, David L. Yowell and Lela M. Clark Yowell; the mother of his children Deborah Yowell; and his sister Terri Dunn. He is survived by: his wife Katherine K. Burke Yowell; his children, Alyson S. Yowell of Winfield, WV and Adam M. Yowell of Hamilton, OH; his stepchildren, Keri Pauley (Chris) of Hurricane, WV and Kevin Kouns (Amiee) of Ironton, OH; and his brothers, Jimmy Yowell (Jill) of Cincinnati, OH. and David Yowell (Diane) of Cincinnati, OH.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, WV 25526).
