With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freida M. Arthur (Hurricane, West Virginia), who passed away on April 23, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sweeney and Lula Gunter Sweeney. She is survived by: her husband Charles F. Arthur; her brothers, Henry Sweeney, William Doug Sweeney, Homer Sweeney of South Charleston, WV and Gary Sweeney of Charlotte; her grandson Seth Derrick (Erica) of Dunbar, WV; her great grandchildren, Mollee and Asher Derrick of Dunbar, WV; her sisters-in-law, Jesse Arthur Tolley of Charleston, WV, Jo Ann Arthur Davis of Mt. Hope, WV, Yvonne Arthur of Fayetteville, WV and Brenda Thompson Sweeney of South Charleston, WV.; and her friends, Karen Nicholson and Kay Miles.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings are required.
