It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Paul Carney of Hurricane, West Virginia, born in Dunbar, West Virginia, who passed away on April 11, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oval L. Carney and Elizabeth Carney (Miller); his brother Charles; his wife Judith G. Carney; his child Dr. J. Paige Carney Salgado (Vito); his grandsons, Tony and Nick Salgado; his siblings, Carolyn "Sissy" Gibb, Elizabeth "DeeDee" Ide (Guil) and James "Jim" (Pat); his sister-in-law Marilyn Carney; his friends, John Skaff, J. R. Carney, Sue Martin and Reverend Melissa Pratt; and also Paul Sydenstricker. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
