She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Homer A. Erwin and Verna Gibson Erwin; her daughter Marsha; and her brother Haskell Erwin (Wanda). She is survived by: her husband Judge James Lee Thompson; her grandchildren, Margaret Stewart, Lee Stewart (Crystal) and Sean Stewart; and her son-in-law David Stewart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 2635 Main Street, Hurricane, WV 25526 Rev. Jerry Losh will officiate the interment service with the family at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, beside graves of Eloise's mother and father and brother and sister-in-law.
