It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Jane Chapman of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Ratliff and Eunice Archey Ratliff; her husband Jacob Leo Chapman Sr.; her children, Christine Chapman, Kevin Chapman and Phillip Chapman; her granddaughter Linsey Jane Hinkle; and her siblings, Maxine Riley, Glen Roy Ratliff, Roger Ratliff, Williee Senters and Claude Russell Ratliff.
She is survived by: her children, Jacob Leo Jr. (Vickie), James, Christopher, Matthew Chapman (Katrini), Diana Torman, Connie Burgess (Steve), Kathy Ketchem (Sal), Peggy Davis, Terry Scharton, Sherry Bradford (Mark) and Vicki Marion (Richard); and her sister Patty Moore. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
