With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Rappold of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde "Pete" Rappold and Ruby Beckett Rappold; and his sister Phyllis Rappold Swann. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hammack Rappold; his children, Keith Rappold of Hurricane and Sherri; his son-in-law Jerry Kreps of Lincoln, NE; his son Kevin; his daughter-in-law Shelia Rappold of Scott Depot; his daughter Tina; his son-in-law Antony Roberts of Dublin, OH; his grandchildren, Lakan Rappold of Hurricane, Christian Hale (Leah) of Franklin, TN, Collin Roberts, Abby Roberts of Dublin, OH, Jordan Kreps of Lincoln, NE, Zachary Rappold of Hamlin and Garrett Rappold of Scott Depot; his great grandchildren, Wesley and Wyatt Sowards of Hurricane; and his sister Carolyn Rappold Handley. He is also survived by his kids, grandkids, and fellow musician friends.
