He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James Holliday and Brenda Kay Johnson; his great-grandparents, Eva Marie and Matt Johnson; and his uncle Mark Wingate.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Rakes Johnson; his parents, Anne Holliday Johnson and Matthew L. Johnson (Tonya); his siblings, Logan Johnson (Kate) and Ali Johnson Owens (Chris); his stepsisters, Laci Shantie and Chloe Holtzapfel; and his grandmother Sally Holliday. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association.
