She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hermas and Ernestine McSpadden Majors; her husband Harold; her daughter Pamela Ross; and her siblings, Joyline Majors, Sarah Burdick, Robert Jarrell and Bill Majors.
She is survived by: her children, James Owens (Deborah), Timothy Owens (Connie) and Paula Owens; and her brother Wayne Jarrell. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
