It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles F. Chapman of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. For Charles is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Walter (Bill) and Mozzel Chapman (Johnson); and his siblings, Loretta Bassham and David Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Frances Chapman; his children, Sharon Tolson (Jim) and George Chapman; his siblings, Brenda McCray, Yvonne, John Chapman, Clinton Chapman and Calvin Chapman; and his pet Diesel. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pineview Cemetery (21557 Coal River Rd, Orgas, WV 25148).
