She was predeceased by: her father Carl; and her husbands, David White of Charleston and Gary Hawks of Hurricane. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Kay Curnutte (Jim Triplette) of Elkins and Paul White (Mindy) of Charleston; her grandchildren, Dr. Katie White of Baltimore, Kirsten White of Charleston, Hunter White (Megan) of Teays Valley and Samuel Curnutte of Nashville; and her sister Patricia Neil (Ralph) of Belle.
She started sewing at a young age and continued until her death, she either gave away or donated almost all her quilted items.
