It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buford Plumley of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Plumley and Veda Egnor Plumley; and his siblings, Garnet Dickerson, Fay Adkins, Mary Hager, Bonna, Wanda Plumley, Ralph, Mike, Wendel, Kendal and Billy Plumley.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Pate Plumley; his children, Bruce Plumley (Verna) and Charlotte Caldwell (Rex); his grandsons, Justin of Hurricane, Corey (Kira) of Hurricane and Aaron (Taylor) of Black Betsy; his great grandchildren, Rylee, Alizabeth and Grayson; his sister Connie Ellis (Bill) of Crown City; and his nephew George Barrett (Mendy) of Hurricane.
