With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Kay Kessler Crowder of Hurricane, West Virginia, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on February 18, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna May and James Kessler of Ravenswood. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Rick" Crowder; her children, Todd Shannon Burdette (Rosemary), Jeremy Burdette (Christy), Nikki Sowards (Robert) and Timothy Crowder (Rebecca); her sister Sandy Miller (Mark); her grandchildren, Andrew Crowder, Mya Sowards, Ryan Burdette, Raegan Burdette, Cora Crowder and Xander Opimo; and her close friend Diana Pence. She is also survived by several nephews and great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Brenda's memory to Hubbard Hospice House West, 4605 MacCorkle Avenue SW, South Charleston, WV 25309.
