It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Newsome of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away on June 21, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lovely and John Lovely of Ward, WV.; and her husband Charles L. Newsome. She is survived by: her daughters, Gancie Kearns (Ronnie), Pamela Bowman (Ed) and Mary Gregory (Phil); her grandchildren, Stephanie Spangler (Derek), Amy Alford, Jamie Dunton (Craig), Anthony Gregory (Megan) and David Persinger; and her sister Shelia Snodgrass (Steve). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
