He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Deel and Hazel Deel; his brothers, Harley, Ike and Elmer Deel; and the mother of his children Phyllis Yvonne Deel.
He is survived by: his children, Philip Deel (Yvonne) of Hurricane, Elizabeth Froemming (Steve) of Nashville, TN and David Deel (Anise) of Fairmont; his stepsons, Chris Akers of Red House and Tommy Akers of Apple Grove; his grandchildren, Samantha Jo, David Heath and Angel; and his sister Chris Kramer of Hernshaw. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
