He was predeceased by: his father Mervin Terry; and his brother Bernard Terry (Mack). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Terry; his daughter Diana Hughes; his grandchildren, Michael Maddox (Terra) and Angela Maddox; his great grandchildren, Brianna VanScoy (Jackson), Taylor Maddox and Austin Maddox; his great great grandchildren, Ryker and David Jackson VanScoy; his siblings, Keith Terry, Wayne Terry (Mary), Greg Terry (Kathy), Georgia Summers, Genieve Wesley, Elizabeth "Libby" Hardison (Joe) and Lynn Craig (Dennis); and his sister-in-law Nellie Terry.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in Alberts name to Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
