He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Thornhill and Bette Thornhill; his son Christopher Thornhill; his grandson Steven Washington; his aunts, Marie Hayden, Evelyn Woody and Aileen Johnson; and his cousins, William Woody and Janice Gould.
He is survived by: his children, Marcus Thornhill, Winnetta Vazquez, Winde Thornhill and Jasmine Ayers; his siblings, Melvin T. Thornhill and Fannette Thornhill-Scott; his brother-in-law Thomas Scott; his cousins, Herbert Johnson and Claudia Grayson; and his close friends, Tim Murphy, LaShawnda and Norman Andrews (Nike). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home (924 20th St, Huntington, WV 25703). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
