He was predeceased by: his father Gary Black Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Robin Black; his mother Sandy Lincoln; his daughters, Emily Williams (Nick) and Katie Flynn (Darrell); his stepchildren, Tim Neil (Kambria) and Tanya Stockeland; his siblings, Gary "Spike" Black Jr. (Brenda) and Denise Black-Kilgore (Ron); his grandchildren, Peyton, Paxton, Parker, Pryce, Preston Williams, Hollie Slone, Avarie Cook, Lily, Dilhia, Levi, Isla Neil, Madison and Logan Stockeland; and his friend Donna Smith Black. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Saint Jude's Children;s Hospital.
