He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Clyde Romans and Elizabeth Jean Gray Romans; and his brother Thomas Alvin Smedley. He is survived by: his son Quinton Romans of Ft. Riley, KS; and his siblings, Bobby Blaze Smedley of Parts Unknown, Danny Romans (Mariela) of Surprise, AZ, Jimm Smedley of Ashland, KY, Wayne Romans of Lake Tahoe, CA and Debi Romans of Flatwoods, KY.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Steen Funeral Homes - Central Ave Chapel (1501 Central Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Ave., Ashland, KY 41101, or in the form of an act of kindness, such as donating food to a local shelter.
