She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Pettrey and Muriel Mann Pettrey; her husband John E. Brooks Jr.; and her sisters, Shirley Johnston and Bonnie Harman.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Copeland (Kyle) of Pearisburg, VA and Jason Brooks (Laura) of Huntington; and her siblings, Donna Hamm of Athens and Eddie Pettrey (Penny) of Princeton. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (450 Courthouse Rd, Princeton, WV 24740).
