He was predeceased by: his wife Marcella Ramey (Butler); his parents, Joshua Ramey and Lizzy Wiley Ramey; and his stepchildren, Cynthia Dennis and Ricky Dennis.

He is survived by: his daughters, Marlena Ramey and Misty Evans of Winfield, WV.; his grandchild Chase Michaels; his great grandchildren, Zayden Bartram, Zaniya Wiggin, Lucas Palmer, Jennifer Palmer, Lucy Palmer and Jasper Anthony Yates; and his siblings, Caroline Pratt, Alice Verbage, Kiah Ramey, Frankie Queen, Faye Osborn, Dora Queen, Alex Ramey, Burl Ramey and Laney Ramey.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
