Bill Howes wrote a sympathy message

“Pastor Joplin, Pastor, friend, brother, Mentor and one of the Mighty Men of God from NLC. I will always remember the year the Cubs won the World Series in 2016. Pastor Joplin and I got in agreement via prayer and faith that they would win early in the season,and we stayed strong. I got Pastor Joplin a beautiful Cubs ball cap, he said to me carefully looking the cap over, “ you know the Cubs arn’t my team but I’m going to wear that cap! And they are going to win!” Love you, Bill Howes”
