He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sexton and Caroline Dillman Sexton. He is survived by: his wife Vida Lee Richards Sexton of Huntington, WV; his children, Janet Lee Halt (Aron) of Hurricane, WV, Barbara Lee Chandler of Westminster, CO and Benjamin Lee Sexton (Mary) of Clearwater, Fla; his granddaughters, Jennifer, April and Peyton; and his great grandchildren, Kakmen and Sage.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lewis Memorial Baptist Church (5325 W Pea Ridge Rd, Huntington, WV 25705).
