He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Leffingwell and Elizabeth Leffingwell; his wife Thelma Rose "Punkin" Browning Leffingwell; and his siblings, Larry Leffingwell, Bill Leffingwell, Robert Leffingwell, Paul Leffingwell, Lee Lee Scarberry and Betty Lynard.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Carol Leffingwell (Don Cummings) of Huntington, WV, Richard "Dickie" Leffingwell, Jr. (Pam) of Chesapeake, OH, Robert Lee "Bob" Leffingwell (Rhonda) of Florida and Vickie Joyce Blankenship (Russell) of Chesapeake, OH; and his siblings, Darrell Leffingwell, Faye Leslie, Wanda Edwards and Janice Krismer. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
