He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Peter Figlia; his wife Joanna Sexton; his sister Rita McCormick; his nephews, George Figlia, Peter Miller and Louis Venosta; his niece Francesca Glasser; his former wife BJ Figlia; his friends, Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Mose Allison, Miles Davis, Ben Gazzara and Tony Lo Bianco; and his uncle Pete'.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Home (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Chapel (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704).
Peter cared about fundraising for The Cerebral Palsy Foundation of New York, The Boy Scouts of America and The Bowery Mission.
