With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Matheny Turner of Huntington, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Matheny and Oreda Matheny; her husband Charles Edward; her mother-in-law Jewel Turner; and her grandson Turner Hickman.
She is survived by: her children, Jim, Holly Hickman (Patrick), Mark and Julie Henry (Scott); her grandchildren, Nicholas (Megan), Abigail, Erika, Bryn, Owen and Norah Turner; her children, Zachary Hickman (Bretlyn), Erin, Wyatt Turner, Evan Henry and Emma Brockman (Alan); and her great grandchild Layton Turner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church (1135 5th Ave, Huntington, WV 25701). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Recovery Point and Hospice of Huntington are appreciated.
