He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bentley and Pauline Cundiff Bentley; his wife Janet Faye Maynard Bentley; his grandsons, Dylan Thacker and Bradrick Taylor Artrip; his daughter Teresa Ann Griffin; and his siblings, Roy Dale Bentley, Patricia Ann Bentley and Paulette Bentley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Danita Hankins (Rick) of Ironton, OH, Marlena Artrip (Mark) of Russell and Virginia Vickers (Kevin) of Huntington, WV; his grandchildren, Amber Wroblewski (Ron), Andrea Clark (Shaun), Jordan Hankins (Shannon), Justin Artrip (Gabriella) and Madison Thacker (Linzie); and his sister Janet McCroskey of Huntington. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Huntington Christian Church (3209 Auburn Rd, Huntington, WV 25704). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
