She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay McDowell and Anna Merle Carter McDowell; her husband Billy Joe Taylor; her sons, Donald K. Taylor and Mark S. Taylor; and her siblings, Donald McDowell, Larry McDowell, Jerry McDowell and Barbara Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Dianna "Annie" Stewart (Dick) and David Michael Taylor (Miriam); her daughter-in-law Pamela Shaffer Taylor; her close friend Roberta Ferguson; and also Darrell Buttram.
