He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Anderson and Margret Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hogg Anderson; his children, Chris Anderson (LaDonna) and Sharon Westfall (Tim); his grandchildren, Katy, Kelly (Brandon), Spencer, Alli, Sidney and Garrett; and his great grandchildren, Jasen and Vanessa.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the John W Hereford Boys and Girls Club, 520 Everett St. Huntington 25702 or First Presbyterian Church - missions programs, 1015 5th Ave. Huntington 25701. Because of his strong belief in helping others, John donated his body to the Marshall University Human Gift Registry for education and research.
