She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Halstead and Margaret Walters Halstead of Beckley, WV.; her parents-in-law, Kyle G. and Dixie Cook; and her son-in-law Jonathan Ferguson.
She is survived by: her husband Kyle; her daughter Dr. Cheryl Lynn Cook of Ashland, KY.; her cousin K. H. Keesee; and her niece Regina Trollinger (Joe) of Williamsburg, VA..
