She was predeceased by: her husband William E. White of Charleston; her daughter Martina T. White; her brother Paul Rudiger Töpken; and her parents, Dr. Johannes Töpken and Gertrud Rembold.
She is survived by: her children, Ingrid White-Sturgill (Jeff), Kristina Price (Josh) and John Paul White (Terri); and her grandchildren, Joee Goheen, Wulf Goheen (Joseph Goheen), Martina Price, Skylar Price, Liam Price (Josh), Samuel Plate (Terri White) and Celia White (John Paul). She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
