He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Smith and Nettie Vance; his wife Lorraine Maynard Vance; his son-in-law Robert McClaskey; his siblings, Rose, Juanita, Evelyn, Ruby and Junior; and his niece Barbara Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Vance and Vicki McClaskey; his grandchildren, Brittani McClaskey, Hannah Prichard and Addison Vance; his great grandchildren, Camryn Ervin and Stella Prichard; and his sister Thelma Vance.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rollins Funeral Home (1822 Chestnut St, Kenova, WV 25530). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
