We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2025, at the age of 95, Freeda Mae Crockett of Huntington, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ramey and Frances Robertson Ramey; her uncle Sam; her son David Monroe Crockett; her grandson Bowen Wesley Clark; and her siblings, Ruby Marcum, Lucinda Dyer, Olive Thacker, Caroline Ramey, Joy Ann Burgess, Lucreda New, Minuard, Paul, James Jr., Clovis, Gordon, Doug and Bryce Ramey.
She is survived by: her husband Monroe Crockett; her aunt Clara Pack; her daughters, Joyce Clark of Huntington, W. V. and La Donna Rader of Ellicott City, M. D.; her sons-in-law, Wesley Clark and David Rader; her grandchildren, Jason Clark (Daphne) of St. Inigoes, M. D., Brandon Clark (Laura) of Huntington, W. V., Aaron Rader (Nancy) of Wilmington, N. C. and Emily Rader of Ellicott City, M. D.; her great grandchildren, Brodie Clark, Isabella Rader, David Rader, Elizabeth Rader, Martha Sol Iriarte, Trae, Katie Beth and Alexander Caudill; her sisters, Myra Lewis and Brenda Lycans; and her nieces and nephews, Kenneth Dyer, Johnny McKenzie, Dorcas Bomerita, Frances Napier, Lois McKenzie and Patsy Brumfield.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Home (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Reger Funeral Chapel (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704).
