He was predeceased by: his parents, Brady Miles and Muriel M. Miles; his grandparents, Wesley and Annie Perry; his sister Shirley Arnette Pope (Clyde); his granddaughter Naomi; his nephew David Pope; and his brother-in-law Bishop John A. Martin, Jr..
He is survived by: his brother Marvin Miles; his children, Jerry Wray (Tracey), Mikell Miles Houston, Jeremiah Miles and Nehemiah Miles; and his close friend Edergeranne "Queeny" Trent. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 godchildren, a host of beloved nieces, nephews, family, friends.
