She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Hunt and Grace Blackburn Hunt; her husband Dr. Hans Werner Dransfeld; her son-in-law Randall Cole; and her sister Glenna Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Cole of Barboursville, WV, Dr. Hans Dransfeld (Sue) of Bluffton, SC and Dr. Joseph Dransfeld (Susan) of Huntington; her grandchildren, Michael Ryan Cole (Tiffany), Stephen Cole, Thomas, Paul, Margaret, Josef, John Dransfeld and Brittany McKee (Colin); and her great grandchildren, Easton, Collins Cole, Maddie and Will McKee.
