He was predeceased by: his wife Myrtle Ellen Williamson Spence; and his sons-in-law, Don R. Moore and Donald L. Gallion, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Ellen Moore and Beth Genene Ratliff; his son-in-law James Ratliff; his grandchildren, Jeff, Shawn, Leslie and Aaron; his great grandchildren, Kristina, Ellen, Lauren, Anna Grace, Ava, Addyson and Ryan; and his great great grandchildren, Harper Jayne and Titus Crew.
