She was predeceased by: her parents, John C Messer and Columbia Belle Evans; her daughter Cassie Janet Messer; and her siblings, Clyde Messer, Richard Messer, Darrell Spaulding and Freida Chaffins.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Lee Messer of Huntington Wv and Candice Shipley of Huntington, WV.; her grandchildren, Alyssa Messer, Logan Sisk and Azrielle Shipley; and her siblings, Billy H. Messer of Columbus Ohio, Homer C. Messer of Louisa Kentucky and Anna Irene Stover of Gailsburg, Illinois.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and Nephews.
