He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jo Cochran Slover; his parents, Charles Slover and Jessie Slover; his sister Aileen Ballinger; his son David Slover; and his grandson Shawn Pirri.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Chaffins (Robert), Rhonda Barker (Ron) and Kathy Pirri (John); his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Slover; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Darcy, Brad Slover, Mike Chaffins, Kristi Jones, Dr. Tamra Aman, Kevin Simpson, Tiffany Lockhart and Amanda Pirri; and his great grandchildren, Dr. Hannah Andresen, Joe Darcy III, Mark Slover, Emma Slover, Clay Chaffins, McKenzie Chaffins, Ashley Hall, Lake Jones, Cameron Jones, Aiden Simpson, Chloe Simpson, Kylie Simpson, Sarah Aman, Thomas Aman, Joseph Aman, Lily Lockhart and Everly Lockhart.
